To verify the optical calibration of the zoom lens, an NIST Traceable Reticle is employed. Each aperture size has an SOP, that lists the pixel value for each applicable zoom lens setting.
The SieveCal is calibrated to a master stack of calibration grade sieves, maintained at Occhio in Belgium, or to the customers own master stack, if requested.
